Practice Description

​

Mr. Han is an associate attorney in the Firm, and specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Mr. Han is both a U.S. and Korean patent attorney, and holds a dual undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Han was a manager in the Intellectual Property Department at LG Electronics' Seocho R&D Center in South Korea.

Mr. Han is experienced working across a broad array of technologies. He has extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, chipsets including audio and video codecs, and mobile technology such as 5G. Mr. Han also has significant experience and knowledge in procuring patents in the areas of electronic devices such as computers, mobile phones, televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, and music players, as well as medical devices and healthcare products. Working alongside engineers for years has provided Mr. Han with a deep understanding of the inventive process. Mr. Han has also participated in managing dozens of patent infringement lawsuits in U.S. federal district courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission.
