Practice Description

​

Ms. McLean is a registered patent attorney and former primary patent examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).  Ms. McLean has more than 15 years of experience in private practice representing technology companies in patent preparation and prosecution.  Having also worked more than a decade in the USPTO, Ms. McLean utilizes her extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the USPTO to achieve successful results on behalf of her clients.  Ms. McLean holds an advanced degree in electrical engineering and has specialized expertise in patents for electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, software and business methods inventions.  In addition, Ms. McLean has registered copyrights, performed trademark searches, filed applications for trademarks, and negotiated and drafted licensing agreements on behalf of her clients.
